Was Chief Petty Officer in the Navy in WW 1; was in the banking business all his life; spent 12 years in Arizona, as Deputy Supt. of Banks for 2 yrs. and Vice Pres. of the United Bank & Trust Co., of Tucson; in 1928 sold his interests there and went to Old Mexico, but returned in 1929. Was Cashier of Almont Savings Bank, Almont, Michigan at the time of his death. He grew orchids as a hobby, and hunted wild orchids through out the state of Michigan.
